About the Author
Raphael Johann "John" Chryslar is an aerospace engineer and volunteer for space agencies' education programs, including NASA and ESA.
Chryslar was (and still is) fascinated with engineering and space ever since he was four. Over the years, he has researched, self taught and gained incredible knowledge of space shuttle and ISS systems, manufacturing processes, engineering, architecture, design and construction. He is also very knowledgeable in science fields such as physics and chemistry (and was able to grasp astrophysics at age 11). He was commonly referred to as the 'walking encyclopedia' by his school companions.
In his free time he enjoys doing hobbies such as art, photography, construction projects in Minecraft and Kerbal Space Program, reading space books (and making his own), traveling to space centers and museums around the world, and lecturing to his friends, young and older people about space, engineering, manufacturing, or all of the above.
Chryslar resides in the UK, and has relatives in the United States and Canada.
